If you have access to a cluster of computers driven by the Sun Grid Engine (SGE) or Portable Batch System (PBS) batch scheduler, then qprepare will help you to submit job arrays. Just prepare a text file with the jobs you want to submit (one command line per line), and qprepare will convert it into a suitable shell script dealing with SGE or PBS for you.
